The Mekong Delta lies to the south of Saigon and is a popular destination for visitors to Vietnam who want to experience what life is like in the country's food bowl.
We can design a bespoke Mekong Delta tour to suit your available time, interests and budget.
We also offer the following tour.
Cai Be Full Day Tour
The town of Cai Be lies on the Mekong River in Vinh Long Province, around 2.5 hours by car from Saigon. This picturesque little town, which is perhaps more authentic than it's more visited neighbor My Tho, boasts a floating market as well as a number of small islands that are readily explored by boat.
After exploring the township itself we transfer to a timber boat to explore the river and nearby islands, which are home to a number of cottage industries including honey and coconut candy production.
The boat trip is usually of around three to four hours duration and a lunch of traditional Vietnamese food is taken on one of the islands.

Our Hoi An tour is available as an add on for those clients who are traveling north from Saigon on their Vietnam adventure.
Situated in Central Vietnam, graceful and historic Hoi An is a Unesco World Heritage Site that exudes the charm and exoticism of it's ancient past, a unique and beautiful place that is one of the most alluring and popular destinations for visitors to this country.
Famous for its atmospheric yellowed and textured walls and the architecture of buildings centuries old, Hoi An is at once beautiful and fascinating.
Since its listing as a World Heritage Site in 1999 and the subsequent surge in visitor numbers Hoi An has somehow managed to retain it's relaxed friendliness, easy going ambiance and quaintness.
The town has, however, developed quickly since its renaissance as a tourist mecca and today is an eclectic mixture of trendy bars and restaurants with a thriving culinary scene as well as the ubiquitous tailor, leather and jewelry shops for which the town is famous. Hoi An is also now home to an increasing number of emerging designers and artists.
Down by the central market life has changed little and you need only take a short boat ride across the Thu Bon River to be amongst bucolic rural countryside. Travel just a few kilometers out of town for a change of scenery at one of Hoi An's beaches.
Hoi An is a must see destination and a perfect place to relax, take a cooking class and relax with a cocktail on the riverfront to witness one of the town's stunning sunsets.

Phu Quoc Island is a beautiful tear shaped island that lies in the Gulf of Thailand, just 15 kilometres off the coast of Cambodia.
Boasting white sand beaches and tropical jungle, 70% of the island is declared national park, the island offers an easily accessible break from the mayhem of Ho Chi Minh City.
Phu Quoc can be reached by air from Saigon in under an hour with Vietnam Airlines offering several flights daily. A new international airport is situated a short car transfer from the main accommodation area of Long Beach and Duong Dong town and signals the islands rapid development, so we recommend visiting sooner rather than later. Much of the islands interior remains mostly undeveloped for the time being. Phu Quoc can also be reached by boat either from Ha Tien or Rach Gia in the Mekong Delta.
The rainy season on Phu Quoc extends from July to November, not that this is any disincentive to visit during those months. Peak tourist season is from December to March.
Activities on the island include wandering the white sand beaches, the more pristine and stunning of which lie off the tourist trail, lying by the pool, cocktail in hand, diving, snorkeling and kayaking. The island is also easily explored by motorbike or car although roads are challenging in places. The island is also famous for its pearl industry and it's delicious seafood.
Accommodation ranges from backpacker to high end and we have a number beautiful properties to recommend that will ensure an enjoyable stay.

A visit to Vietnam is not complete without spending some time in the nations capital, Hanoi.
From hidden, cosy coffee shops in aging buildings and an emerging contemporary design and art scene, to the luxury cars on the city streets, Hanoi knows how to embrace modernity while simultaneously retaining its ancient identity.
Unlike Saigon, Hanoi experiences four distinct seasons. The city is hot and just as sweaty in summer but wet and cold during the winter months.
There is much to explore in the national capital from museums and historical monuments to ancient pagoda's and temples. Hanoi remains famous for its delightful French architecture, as well as for it's lakes, the most famous of which is the centrally located Hoan Kiem. The one thousand year old "Old Quarter" with its intricate and confusing labyrinth of small streets remains a sight that has to be seen to be believed.
A thriving culinary scene with an amazing array of delicious food, from street vendors to five star restaurants, Hanoi truly has something for every traveler.
Not too far from Hanoi, the iconic Vietnamese destinations of Ha Long Bay and Sapa beckon those with the time and inclination to stay a little longer.
